And here's my little marshmellow of a cat (whose name happens to be William, but he goes by Bill) trying his best to look scary for Halloween. Too bad I couldn't get Smelly to do this. photo (c) goob
Yeah I've been seeing a lot more of Bill since my folks have been gone, though he still spends most of his time up in their room avoiding the evil girl cats. I took him and Smelly out today since it was so nice.
No way...you have a cat called William? My cat is also called William; but I call him "The Waa-let (rhymes with harlot)" uh - because I can. He's also Smelly's double, incidently, which is rather odd.
Yeah that's kind of funny. Bill's full name is William F. Buckley, who is a real person, but I don't know who it is I just thought it would be funny to name a cat after him.
Ah. Mine is called William 'cos I got him from animal rescue; he was found in a place called Williamscot, so they called him William. I just thought since he already had a name I might as well keep it! And its just as well, 'cos he'd have ended up being called Barstard, or Beezelbub or something...
Actually, now I come to think of it, someone did actually send him a Christmas card last year. (Still not sure who, tho'). It came through the post, addressed to "William Aitken", which, I suppose, is actually his name. Anyway, Mother and I thought it was hilariously funny. And yes, we are quite strange.
Smelly is at war with my other cat Patches, They do not get along at all. This morning (while I was still trying to sleep) Patches tried to invade the basement, which belongs to me and Smelly. Luckily after a short battle Smelly won, and Patches was forced back upstairs so we could finish sleeping. Outside however, is still Bill's territory, so both other cats have to give him room when they're out. Kind of funny, since he's the one on the leash when he's out. (he likes to go back in the woods and hunt, but he's getting old so it's kind of dangerous. He's not allowed out of the yard anymore). Hey Waa-let, Smelly is a big fan of Alkaline Trio too.
Just a very lonely person..... I don't know how anyone could live without pets... when I get a house someday I'm going to have about 5 million animals running around everywhere
Yes I know, Bill has brought home dead snakes for us before..... though I have since taught him not to kill snakes anymore. Once my snakes are grown though, there's no way any cat is going to kill them. They couldn't eat Smelly either, she's so big, but they could easily kill her, so I don't let her get near my snakes at all.
Although it would be fun to give Smelly a mouse, I think it would be kind of cruel, cause she would probably play with the poor thing for about an hour before it finally died, and then I'd have to clean up a dead, ripped apart mouse. So I think if she wants to kill a mouse she'd better work on her hunting skills, cause I'm not going to give her one.
Ah, well no wonder feeding time attracts a lot of feline attention then! Incidently I covered a murder trial for the paper of a bloke called Richard Parker. His "friends" thought he'd dobbed them into the police for stealing some alcohol from a supermarket, so they decided it would be better to kill him to - uh - "shut him up". Nice, eh?
