- Christmastime Stories -
Well well well, Christmas time is over again. I have to say I made out pretty well in the present department this year, I got lots of fun stuff. Well maybe not exactly fun, but stuff I like anyway. I was hoping for some books, in particular the newest Harry Potter and a book by Richard Leakey, and I got both of them, along with the first Harry Potter and two other books by Stephen Jay Gould, an evolutionary biologist. So I have lots of fun stuff to read. I won't go on and list everything else, but one thing I have to mention since I'm using it right now, is a wireless router for my computer I bought with a gift card from my aunt. I'm still at my parents house, but I set it up here to see if it worked, so now I'm down in the basement using the internet. It's pretty neat. Anyway, it'll be nice at the apartment since I don't really have a computer desk. I was just sitting at the counter on a stool using it which wasn't all that comfortable. So now I can just hang out and sit on the couch while I'm using it.
I'm waiting for a call from my friend Bonnie, who should be getting into town soon, and once I get a chance to see her, I'll be heading back up to Columbus. I have to make sure the snakes are ok. I'm just worried that one of them may have spilled their water dish and won't have anything to drink for a couple days. Or for some reason the heat tape failed and they're sitting there really cold... which is bad..... but I'm sure they're fine, enjoying some time alone without me dragging them out and making them hang out with me. Smelly will be coming back with me this time, which I'm sure I've mentioned, so that should be fun. My bed has seemed so empty without a giant overweight half-panther taking up all the room.
Well I just thought I would check in with some news, and now I'm going to go try and finish The Half Blood Prince tonight. More stories later... school starts soon. i posted this at 11:58 PM ---
I'm waiting for a call from my friend Bonnie, who should be getting into town soon, and once I get a chance to see her, I'll be heading back up to Columbus. I have to make sure the snakes are ok. HBP was great, though, like I said before... he's gonna die... sad as it is...
Well, if you are bored as hell by Saturday, which I am sure you will be, you should come back on down to at least watch the game, though who knows if it would be even worth it after the way they played last Sunday...
Earlier this week, they thought that Carson Palmer was not even going to play due to the groin injury he received during the game on the second to last play (hence the reason he was limping and probably threw that interception). But they said on the radio this afternoon that he was practicing again and he and Marvin Lewis both commented that he would start Saturday... So who knows what's going to happen... I'll bet anything though that Marvin took it to his team in practice after that performance last week in preparation for this one, which is why I think this one will be one hell of a game... Kansas has an explosive offense and terrible defense just like we do... So think about it, and make sure that if you don't come down, then at least it will be on TV... Ya never know, they might show the browns game instead...

woooooops... the game is on sunday... scratch that... i need to refigure my whole weekend out... maybe if you decide to stay i'll come up there and be bored with you...
