  - make them go away -

My nice quiet between-class hideout has been taken over by a large group of loud people for some kind of conference thing. Not sure what it is, but their food looks good..... maybe I can sneak up and swipe some without anyone seeing. No, probably not, they're all wearing suits and shit, I think they would probably notice me. Oh well, I have to go back to class in a little bit anyway.

For some reason lately I've been feeling the urge to get another tattoo. I've wanted another one for a long time, but it's been on my mind a lot more lately. Maybe it's from all the Miami Ink commercials on TV again. We'll have to see how my finances hold out. Maybe I can get one with my tax refund. Tax refund time is a great time of year. Even though it's all money that I earned, and the government took for themselves, at least they give some back. It's kind of like a late Christmas present from Uncle Sam.

I was watching a show yesterday on the NatGeo channel about tattoos, and they were talking about the art of tattooing in Japan. I forget what it was called, but they get tattoos all over their body, but leave certain parts bare so that they can all be covered up when you're wearing clothes. But all the tattoos are all supposed to represent a certain part of your life. The idea is that when you die, your body is dead, but your whole life is represented in the tattoos on your skin, so in a way you're not really dead, or gone. Or something like that. But I think that tattoos can definitely serve as a reminder of certain periods or events in your life. I see it all the time on the tattoo shows, people saying they're getting one so that whenever they see it, they remember a certain time or a certain feeling that is important to them. And a lot of people who have lots of tattoos can pretty much tell you their life story through their tattoos. I find this very comforting. The idea that the tattoo is there permanently usually makes most people put considerable thought into one before they get it, and once you have it it's a great feeling that it's going to be there forever. Whether it's to remind you of something, or represents something you love, or you just plain think it looks good, getting a tattoo gives you this feeling that's hard to describe. Almost everyone I've known who has a tattoo has wanted another one. And I'm all for it.

Ok, enough of that. So how bout this crazy weather? It's been so long since it snowed I thought we might get through winter without any more. I was hoping anyway... But of course last night I look out the window and it was starting to snow. And it still is. At least it's not accumulating much, and it's supposed to warm back up tomorrow. Man I'm a dork.... always talking about the weather.

Alright I'm tired of sitting here on the computer. I guess I'll read for a while. You barstards. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha.......

Comments:
You can NEVER have too many tattoos, I say...I've only got two, but that's cos of bossy boyfriends not letting me get any more...grrrr...
I want a scorpian on my left hip to mirror the design on my right hip, a heart over/around my scar where I had a tumour removed, and something higher up my back. Oh and maybe something like Ian Watkin's pistol design, that's freakin' awesome.

I think you can have too many, at least for me. I don't think I have the personality or the style of a person who has is covered in tattoos. But I think everyone looks cool with a couple, or at least one. I plan on getting a few more throughout my life. The next one I get is going to be a snake I think. I found a design I like, but haven't gotten around to getting it yet. But not a cheesy-ass cobra-wrapped-around-a-dagger snake tattoo, just a normal looking snake with a neat design.

Ah, the thing with my tattoos is they are hidden; people wouldn't know they were there. But I do and I like that.
I'd never get any on my arms or my face or anything!!!

...besides, the tattooist I went to last time is a cutie, tee hee hee

I wouldn't get one anywhere normally visable, like hands or face, but of course you can see mine if I have my shirt off like at the beach or something. I've always wanted one on my forearm, but then I would always have to wear long sleeve shirts to look respectable. So I doubt that will happen.

This weather?
Jesus Christ you aint kidding...
though the snow down here stuck very nicely to the ground...
two days ago 60 degrees
yesterday 25 and snowing...
today, it's supposed to be up around 55 again...
jesus
not that i am complaining
it was bitterly cold yesterday after having two/three weeks of warm weather...

You said baRstards! -grin-
