- This is kind of annoying.... -
I only have one class on fridays, which I thought would be nice. Just a bus ride to school, sit through a short class, then go home and go back to bed. But class gets out at 9:18, and the bus comes at 9:20. There's no way I can make it to the bus stop in time unless I leave class early, which I'm not going to do. So I have to wait an hour until the next bus comes. It's not a huge deal, it would just be nice to get back home quickly. Today is a beautiful day though, for now. About 55 degrees and sunny. It's gonna rain later though, but at least it's relatively warm.
Did the new font show up for everybody? It should look like a typewriter. I don't know if everyone else has that font on their computers, but I like the way it looks.
I didn't think anyone ever looked at my evolution blog, but I changed the address and Mike complained, so here's the new address if anyone is interested. http://endlessformsmostbeautiful.blogspot.com . The link from my page works as well. The name comes from the last line in Darwin's Origin of Species, describing the product of evolution, and I liked it so I changed the name of the Blog. I'll probably be posting a review of and my thoughts on one of the books I got for Christmas as soon as I finish it, which shouldn't be too long. Ah, I have a similar bus problem.
My bus to work gets in at 10 past the hour every hour - which means I either have to be 50 mins early for work, or ten minutes late. Barstards.
On my computer your new font looks like Verdana, which it clearly isn't if its s'posed to be like a typewriter, but then the computers at work are ancient so I'm not surprised it doesn't show up...

Now I've got it...on my computer your font appears as Trebuchet!
(You might think this is odd, but I had an hour-long conversation with one of my geek friends last night on our favourite fonts. And I have to say that no matter how hard a sans serrif type face tries it will just never endear itself to me)...

I just have Trebuchet as the backup for computers that don't have the other fonts that I picked. You can put a whole list of fonts, and it the computer will just pick the first font on the list that it has. The font on mine is called "Batik Regular". If you don't have it on your computer at home you should download it.
I too do not see typewriter font... I'll have to check it out...

Like I said.... it's not a huge problem, just mildly annoying. And the weather here is the same as it is in Cincinnati jackass.
Oi - I go to work before dawn too ('cept in the summer when it gets light earlier)...I think the longitude makes a major difference between here and America...it's sure dark at 7.30am at the moment...
Ok, so the rain got to you a few hours before it got here.... most of the time the weather is pretty much the same. I'm not saying it's exactly the same.
