- Things I Hate About Spring -
1. Bradford Pear Trees - Those white-flowered, stinky-as-hell trees that are all over and make being anywhere near them unbearable
2. Bees - Especially the giant bumblebees that were just hovering all around me a couple minutes ago i posted this at 12:40 PM ---

3. fat people wearing tight clothes again...
4. all insects, not just bee's... like the gnats that are everywhere... the wasps trying to fly into my car window when I am driving...
5. cub fans
6. daylight savings
7. allergies begin again...
8. people in general. Though they're around in the other seasons, I had to throw that one in there just because... Also, because it is during springtime that we can notice an increase in traffic due to the amount of people on the road who would not be out on any given winter day...

Yeah, I got tired of the cheesy typewriter font.... so I thought I would go with a good ol' easy to read standard font.... so Times New Roman it is, for now anyway
I don't think "spring" being tinny is neccessarily a bad thing.... besides, the word "vernal" is very woody, so it balances out the tinniness of "spring"
as for the other stuff....
#3 - Yes, fat people in tight clothes are bad
#4 - Other insects don't bother me so much in the spring.... just the bees
#5 - Yes... I hate Cubs fans
#6 - Meh.... I like it staying light later.... I just don't like losing an hour of sleep
#7 - I don't have any allergies
#8 - Yeah, most people suck.... but that has nothing to do with spring.... they're just outside more in the spring
#9 - I LOVE spring storms.... we've been getting some good thunder and lightning up here, and it hailed a little bit earlier today... that was fun
Basically, the list was titled "things I hate about spring", not "things SIB hates about spring"......

Yes, vernal may be woody, but since it was not mentioned anywhere in the post, I think that it cannot be counted or applied to the discussion as a means of factoring out the material composition of a word... And quit being so damned factious... Tinny words are of course a bad thing, especially if we use it in the context of which that phrase came from...

#9 rain is okay every once in a while... but when it rains constantly... then it is just boring and annoying... plus the job-sites become extremely muddy...

um... yes... but I was being nice and commenting on your damn blog... I agreed with your assessment and had to add my thoughts... and perhaps that is what the comment page's function is, but I could be wrong...
I saw the disclaimer, but being too prideful, I cannot help it but to respond...
I wasn't crying... I was being fairly obvious man and simply stating in shock that when I threw a nice soft pitch straight over the plate that you didn't take a chance and swing...
